San Diego Gynecomastia
San Diego Gynecomastia
The statistics for San Diego Gynecomastia are very similar to those from any other part of the United States. These statistics show that Gynecomastia will develop in at least 15 percent of males in the age group 50 and older. Gynecomastia is said to also develop in around 50 percent of teenage males. Not taking this ratio into account, it is obvious that this disorder psychologically affects the younger male population more than it does the older, as teenagers are prone to more abusive comments from their peers. There are many males that do not know how this is caused, or why it is caused, and in many cases, the males that suffer from this disorder, don’t even know that it has a name or that it is fully treatable.
Gynecomastia is a problem that will affect a total of 40 – 60 percent of the male population around the world. It is classified as the over growth of the tissue surrounding the breast, otherwise known as breast tissue. The over growth may give the male figure the effect of having female breasts, however, this is only in extreme conditions, otherwise known as stage 3. There are three different stages of Gynecomastia. Stage 1 is where there is a slight overgrowth of breast tissue, which can disappear on its own, and if not, can be treated with hormones or other drugs. Stage 2 is where the appearance is slightly more than that of stage 1 and may be accompanied by stretched out skin surrounding the overgrown tissue. In this case the subject may need surgery to reduce the affects. The third stage of Gynecomastia is more unsightly, as the overgrowth of breast tissue is accompanied by stretched skin covering the breast area; this stage is where the female breast effect comes in.
Looking at the statistics in San Diego Gynecomastia is such a common problem, that numerous treatments and clinics have been established to fight it, and give men a better life. It is a very treatable and curable disorder, and men do not have to live with it for the rest of their lives, as previously thought by many.
